Hydroponics

An overview of the physical hydroponics system — its structure, growing method, and subsystems.

What is Hydroponics?

Hydroponics is a method of growing plants without soil. Nutrients are dissolved directly in water and delivered to plant roots, enabling precise control over the growing environment.

Subsystems

Subsystem Description
Design Growing technique, frame, and water system
Environment Lighting and airflow

Relationship to Automation

The physical system is monitored and controlled by the automation layer. Sensors measure water and air conditions; actors respond to keep parameters within target ranges.
