Monitoring¶
We use an well established and battle-tested monitoring stack to monitor the health of the hydroponics system. The stack consists of Prometheus, Grafana and Alertmanager.
Metrics Collection¶
Prometheus is used to collect metrics from the various sensors and actors in the system.
Visualization¶
Grafana is used to visualize the metrics.
Alerting¶
Alertmanager is used to send alerts when certain thresholds are exceeded.
